I am currently Lvl18 R/Mo and at Sanctum Cay. I was wondering if anyone knew of a productive way to make money at this stage of the game. Is it possible to farm anywhere succesfully or do I just wait and collect what drops I can?

I have found Jungle Trolls relatively easy in Maguuma Jungle...does this sound like the best place to keep trying? The Tengu drop nicely, but are difficult to kill. I figure that solo'ing is difficult without Barrage etc.

Any tips would be a great help.

a good way to ranger farm almost ANYTHING is trapping

chec out trapping builds, you dont't even need an elite to make it work

you need:

+15 energy stuff

barbed trap,
dust trap
flame trap
energising wind
serpents quikness
trall enguent
*cant remember the other 2, but elite is not a MUST here

you must have max wilderness survival, all rest in Expertise

and a good monk staff with an enegy bonus on it sos u can drop lots more traps, before u run out of energy, I carry an off hand focus when trapping, gets me up to 51 energy

anouther build i used to farm ettins in bettletun

you need: lvl 20 hearthy pet, +15 energy stuff

2 pet attaks (bestial pounce, feral launge, whatever u want)
interrupting pet attak (forgot name)
simbiotic bond
mending
pet/rez pet
trall enguent

max beast mastery, make mending roll at +4, rest in WS and expertise

not the best build in the world, but worked for me

and just so u know: to farm you dont NEED barrage. barrage is a good skill when a warior is tanking and you are shooting. but forb solo thers many better skills.

u cant get mending +4 with a ranger max 12 = 3
+4 only can with a +1 Healing (20%)

oopsie! my mistake. then its +3 (still not bad)
but considering i need a stuff for this anyways, why not giving the +1 healing (20%) a shot? isnt a collectors item?

Best move for you is to hit lvl 20 with 200 att points and cap a few elites. You'll make more gold faster by doing so.

you can just buy a Millus Pillar for 1k.....

its a green ele earth stuff, +15 energy, and +30hp.

cuz it drops so much its cheap. and its not like youre gonna use alot of monks spells anyways and you nee dthe stuff for energy only. and the +30hp mode is nice to have...

i got 2 of them in my storage and im pretty sure ill get it droped again tomorow... lol
